Transformation 60: Week 1, Day 3
To recap yesterday, we learned that you have way more control over your health than you may have thought!
Now! I have had some time to read through your assessments and goals! Thank you for taking the time to do so! NOW! I get to be a little more specific in what I am sharing.
For some of you it’s :
Desire to be inspired
As you can see from the list above, not everyone has the same goals or intentions for being on Transformation 60. Not everyone fits in the same box. There is no “one size fits all” plan of action. So… how the heck am I going to help each of you?!? Haha! I LOVE THIS!
That is the beauty of taking into consideration Epigenetic Factors. They influence ALL ASPECTS of your life and can manifest in your body: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually! As we go through them, you will experience how each are affecting you.
For 28 years, these Epigenetic Factors such as: the food I was eating, the chemicals on my clothes, the internal dialog I had to myself about myself, the relationships I kept, and my physical activity all contributed to my over wellness… or lack there was.
I am going to give you a little summary for half of the factors today and the rest tomorrow. I also want to see how you are implementing things as we go along. Make a post on instagram and tag @SoundembraceHealth so I can see what you are up to! You can use whatever code words you like, or be as open! This is about you, so DO YOU!
Remember, we will go into depth about each of these factors as we move through the program. Right now, I want to inspire you to take action on the things YOU feel comfortable doing right now.
Get Your Mind Right
“What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow: our life is the creation of our mind.” -The Dhammapada
This, as many of the other Factors, has some layers. However, over the next few weeks, I encourage you to take inventory of the quality of your thoughts so you can begin to shift them.
Our thoughts carry very powerful frequencies throughout the rest of the body. They direct the brain on how to act, or react.
“Send cortisol now!”
“Turn on pain receptors!”
“I am hungry!”
“I am dizzy!”
If you are telling yourself a story about how unattractive you are, not only will the physical body react, so will the emotional.
Take inventory on how you are talking to yourself. This is so you can meet yourself where you are. It’s hard to change something you are unaware of. As time goes, you may realize other dialogs happening in that brain of yours. That’s ok! I still get the mind chatter, too! Only now, I know how to work with it so it doesn’t take over my life!
We will go into how to evolve these thoughts. Right now, just notice them without judging yourself for having them.
Do you like yourself?
Do you think you are attractive?
Do you think you are intelligent?
Are you happy in your job, or work?
Are you happy in your relationships?
Do you gossip?
Where are you giving away your power?
How can you empower yourself more?
What is the movie you are playing in your mind?
The Truth About Movement
There is such a thing and not enough movement, AND too much! I’m talking about sedentary versus, extreme athlete. Both cause stress on the body.
Movement is a fundamental aspect of life. It affects everything from circulation to digestion, to metabolism, and immunity. With movement, our bodies regulate hormone activity, detoxify and respire. Daily movement promotes chemical changes in the body and stimulates neural pathways that provoke healing capacity and boosts immunity. Movement is essential for learning, and ignites cerebral capacity and function. Movement is essential! So get MOVING!
Do you have a regular workout or movement routine?
What is something you can start this week?
The Right Fuel
You have the power to change your health faster than anyone else, and part of that is knowing what’s in your food. The food we eat gives our bodies the information and materials needed to function properly. If we don't get the right information, our metabolic processes suffer and our health declines.
If we eat food that gives our bodies the wrong instructions, we can become overweight, undernourished, and at risk for the development of diseases and ailments.
Take a look in your cabinets and refrigerator. You know what REAL food is. See where you can empower yourself to switch out your processed food and sodas, with healthier REAL foods without all the preservatives and sugar! Let me know what you threw out!
I look forward to sharing the rest of the Epigenetic Factors with you tomorrow! Until then, post one of these topics on Instagram and tag @SoundembraceHealth ! I want to know what you are taking action on!
