Sound Healing 101 is only offered twice a year and it is THE PERFECT class for those curious about sound healing or thinking about pursuing. No instruments required! I will have everything you need.
What You Will Learn
1. How to play the Crystal bowls, gong, and shamanic drums. (there will be other smaller instruments as well)
2. The Foundational Principles of Sound Healing
3. What can Sound Healing help with?
4. The Difference Between a Facilitator and a Performer
5. Intro to the History of Sound Healing and how to apply it today
6. Where do you go from here?
*Everyone will get a chance to facilitate a sound bath by the end of class!

Community is the glue that holds it together! Beautiful evening spent talking about Risk and ways to empower yourself when you are feeling fear.
FEAR definitely made way into the conversation for me when I decided to create Sound Apothecary (images coming soon! 🤪) I mean... overhead, inventory, set hours... 😳 As Mark RoX TioXon mentioned in the discussion, COMMUNITY is key! And it played a major role in propelling me PAST fear and into creation of my space!
Community, Compassion, Trust... what is something you currently have fear around and one small step you can do today to move forward? 💕

Wow... this bowl created a sound that you could feel move from one ear to the other ONLY when I played it for her... not for me... not any of the other times I spent with it... only for her and when SHE plays it.
They really do all have their own personalities and are calling out to their new partners in healing. Kim’s personal meditation practice and yoga students will never be the same!

Balance is an interesting thing. It doesn’t have to look one way or be the same as someone else’s. There are periods of time where I am “On the Grind”, while other times where there is ease and spaciousness. I just go with the ebb and I go with the flow. And when I have too much of one, I feel burned out or stagnant. Once that dust start to settle... Im back up and ready to go!
Today, I invite you to sit.
Notice where on the scale you are currently. Ebbing, or flowing.
And rest there for a moment.
Take in the details of it without judgment.
Then ask yourself, “Where can I empower myself?” or “Where can I cast more love?”
Balance is personal. It is a recipe you create on a daily basis that doesn’t have to look, taste, or sound the same day to day.

Playing a little catch up today and I am reflecting back to yesterday mornings Summer Solstice event. Flip through to check out some highlights including a short video at the end (check out that gong power 🔥✨)
SOUND has the ability to open us up to depths of our subconscious that are otherwise difficult to tap into. It has the ability to bring to your awareness where you are holding yourself back. What’s so powerful about that is that you can’t go back... we now have a choice. A choice to make the change you want to see in your life or to stay where you are.
This Summer Solstice opened me up to a new community. From sun salutations, a medicine wheel and intention ceremony, we practiced right on Peachtree St at the base of the new mural of Aurora at Colony Square Atlanta.
We invited in the light on the longest day of the year holding the intention that by letting in the light, each person would be supported in connecting to, and taking action on their highest truth.
So much gratitude for the lovely Shelly for leading this beautiful event and Colony Square Atlanta for curating the details, holding space, and being open to hosting events that have the power to deeply touch the lives of the community.

This badass mural is a collaboration of 4 female Atlanta artists, and depicts Aurora in the moment she is waking up, inviting the light of the new day. Together, we will observe the ripening and fruiting all around us, connect through a Medicine Wheel and be grateful for the generosity of Aurora: the symbol of hope, transcendence, and the coming of a new day. What would it feel like to make $5k a month? 10k? 20k?
Before I got into doing Sound Healing work, I was a photographer and retoucher for 11 years. When you are in the photo industry you have to know how to share your message through ONE image and often times, very little text. Part of the creative challenge was that I had to tell many different stories because the message would be different for each job and client.
I am sharing this, because I was asked a really great question today: “Why are you teaching a business class and what experience do you actually have?”
My 11 years in the photography industry gave me that experience. Then, I slowly transitioned into doing Sound Healing work. I was 3 years in when I started teaching “Sales as a Spiritual Practice” and have spoken and taught at break out sessions at a couple of conferences. .
Interestingly, I had moved back to ATL in 2016 for a Sound Healing opportunity. I moved here, and then the “opportunity” fell through and I became homeless, bouncing from one friends couch to another while still keeping my business in SF a float. Because of what I am going to teach in the “Sales as a Spiritual Practice” class, I went from homeless to thriving in 1 year! Keeping my business in SF and building here in ATL.
Some of you don’t know what it really means to be an entrepreneur. Some of you are doing great work but are stretched so thin its hard to focus and get out of that fight or flight mode to make any headway. And some of you don’t know how to confidently price your offerings, get stuck or feel guilty, and then do it for free or low cost…
This class is a step FORWARD in feeling confident in DOING BUSINESS in the work you are so passionate about. You will gain community, clarity, and resources. I have added a coaching call to the class so we can chat a few weeks afterwards to see how you are doing and gain more clarity on next steps!

Big Ideas require BIG HEART!

And faith.
And sleep.
And a team.
And healthy food.
And a chiropractor.
And a sense of humor.
OH LORD. When I say YES to an idea, I go at it HARD. Well, I not only said YES to a sound healing studio space, but I also said YES to a build out to make it a Crystal Bowl Showroom, too!
Lets just say I haven’t slept much in May. I’ve learned to ask for help (still a challenge for me, heh!), I have been challenged, and I have been held. I have had countless “What the f*ck and I doing with my life?!?” moments throughout this process.
And now, as the space is nearing completion, I am in awe that followers on Instagram and Facbook supported this project in the way they have, and some new incredibly bad a$$ women have shown up and supported me through an injury. 💕😭💕
I have been a “lone wolf” for so long… and to receive the support these women have shown/given is humbling. I’m feeling less alone, stronger, and understood. Which, in and of its self serves as fuel for my mission... and provides ease emotionally. I am so thankful.
We all need support, and guidance from time to time. It’s the only way we can truly grow. Especially when the vision you have feels so great!
Thank you for allowing me to be a guide in your journey. Whether it’s been through sound bath sessions or sound healing classes... through all this, I am reminded of just how important a role I play. Without the amazing people who have shown up during this time, this would be a very different post. 💕
