If you know me, you know that I laugh A LOT.

If you know me, you know that I laugh A LOT. And… pretty loud at that!!! But there is just something about snow that makes me giggle uncontrollably and smile like nothing else! There is this sense of peace and calm about it…everything goes still and silent. Reflecting inward. There is simply this feeling of MAGIC! Then, as if transported back to childhood, I suddenly realize I am looking at the world in a new way! With lightness! Carefree! And overwhelmingly filled with so much love! FILLED WITH MAGIC! In writing this I had the thought of, “When did I loose that sense of magic?” But quickly realized that I’ve never lost it! I just haven’t slowed down enough to allow myself to feel it on a day-to-day basis! Or even acknowledge the MAGIC I CREATE!Tomorrow I leave for San Francisco for 7 days. 5 of those days I get to collaborate with some really amazing women! Tuesday the 12th is with  Ashley Burnett where we are creating a beautiful Winter Solstice evening retreat! Wednesday is with Misty and Katy Jercich from StudioMix SF, where you will experience a relaxing sound bath! Thursday is a private event for SOULstice Sisterhood!, Friday and Sunday, a soothing, yet restorative yoga + sound bath with Lorraine Perez. I hope to see you at one of these gatherings. We get to choose to create or allow magic in our lives. Come laugh with me! I have hugs for everyone! Allow magic in.

Tonight is the last Full Moon of 2017 and it’s a Supermoon!

Tonight is the last Full Moon of 2017 and it’s a Supermoon!
It is a perfect time to check in with your body and ask yourself:
How are you feeling?
How are things unfolding?
What is stirring in you?
What are you learning?
See if you can tune in to the intelligence of your body, feeling into the answers, rather than let your mind answer.
We live in a world of contrasts: day or night, heat or cold, love or loneliness, health or illness, wealth or poverty, pleasure or pain, war or peace, and so on... These contrast’s can leave us confused with spiraling out thoughts about what we SHOULD do or COULD do, but HAVEN’T done, or DON’T do. “Feeling in” gives you an opportunity to connect to a Oneness within oneself. Allowing awareness’s and truth to arise so you can then choose to empower yourself to be proactive in making change and outgrow how these extreme contrasts effect you.
Today, look up at the moon. Feel in, to your body. Connect to the Oneness within oneself. The Supermoon energy will be potent all week. My sound bath on Thursday the 7th is great way to connect deeper with this energy. What’s coming up for you? Let’s talk about it! See you in a few days Atlanta!

We just entered the second week of Transformation 60!

We just entered the second week of Transformation 60! This week we are exploring how our thoughts effect our physiology.

It wasn’t that long ago that I had a serious run in with how my thoughts manifested into an issue with my heart. I held a lot of anger and resentment around betrayal. I didn’t talk about what happened. I didn’t deal with the emotions. I had a lot of internal dialog that kept me spinning in negative thoughts.
This manifested as inflammation in the arteries of my heart, causing difficulty breathing, tightening of my chest, and frequent dizzy spells. My cardiologist said that from all the tests he had done, there was no reason I should have this problem.
I was reminded about how thoughts can effect our physiology and THEN realized the internal conversation I was having over the betrayal! Once aware, I took action! I started to talk about what had happened. Started shifting the conversation in my head to be more productive. And finally had the ugly cry. Within a week, my symptoms went away.
You have more control over your wellness story than you think! Your thoughts, outlook, and perspective are just a few factors you can check in with to shift the disease you are experiencing. If you would like to know more about how epigenetic factors and sound healing play a role in transforming your health sign up with the link in my bio. You can still have access to the content. FYI!! The sound healing app comes out in Feb and works with both epigenetic factors and sound healing! Xo!

Morning Cup Introspection/ English Breakfast / Nov 28th / 7:01am/ Atlanta, Ga. //

There is the tendency to write about the things that are going well. And.. there are a lot of things going really well! Those are the easy ‘shares’. But these introspection’s are also a way for me to share the frustrating aspects that come into play when running a wellness business, sharing about Sound Healing and events, as well Soundembrace being a real person (ME) who actually lives what she preaches! And btw, not at all perfect.

Like right now. I’m really frustrated. And have been frustrated for about a week. Last night I tossed and turned, wrestling with thoughts that came up from every part of my life. At some point I finally passed out, but journaling about it this morning I realized that there are a few things I had given my power away on and what I’m left with is waiting, wanting, disappointment, a little insecurity, and restlessness.

The more you do your inner work, the faster you can work through moments like this. You identify them quicker. You start to notice the physical manifestations that are wanting to act out. I knew there was something up when my head was flooded with “random” thoughts last night. After sitting with it, I knew what I needed to do and can now take action. I would love to hear your introspection stories! This is a great practice for self reflection and growth. You may be surprised what comes up!

“Can Sound Healing cure me?”

“Can Sound Healing cure me?” You wouldn’t believe how many times I am asked this question. My answer always surprises them. “NO!” Sound healing is ONE of the tools I use to help you relieve stress and reduce pain. Whatever the ailment: physical, mental, or emotional, sound healing CAN play a major role in the success of your health goals, and cause some major transformations! But like many forms of therapy or medication, it would only be like putting a band aid over the problem if you do not take these Epigenetic factors into consideration!

When I work with someone, it’s not just about sound healing. (Although, VERY powerful!) I’m also evaluating the epigenetic factors contributing to the root cause of the issue.

Those who signed up for T60 have already received a pretty raw piece of my story in their inbox. No one wants to hear a story about a 5 year old being pinned down! This first memory of a doctors visit shaped my belief system around life and my health that I have carried into adulthood and shaped my perspective and experience of the world until I was 28. Wherever you are on your journey, know that you have way more control of your health than you think. Don’t give up your power. Work in collaboration with Doctors. Ask questions and take action.

Over the next 60 days, I will introduce you to ancient intelligence that shows the power you have over your own health.

Over the next 60 days, I will introduce you to ancient intelligence that shows the power you have over your own health.

My interest in the mind-body-spirit connection didn’t occur over night. It was through my own health journey that I was motivated to seek out answers to the chronic symptoms I was experiencing. Through this search, I have discovered a power I didn’t know I had to under go radical transformation.

Let me get one thing straight with you! Your health and wellness goals are not going to fit in a “one size fits all” package or program. The hard truth is that the starting line is revealed when you can finally be real with yourself in where you are.

I know you are sick and tired of being sick and tired!

Here is the good news! Transformation 60 is going to guide you in getting to the core. We will explore epigenetic factors that are contributing to the state of your health, how to shift those factors so your body can repair itself, and use sound healing to support the body in relieving stress.

You can follow here, but you will get the most through signing up with the link in my bio. For 60 day’s you will receive an email with in-depth content, resources, and support! A lot can happen in 60 days!

Intro: Do you believe transformation can happen in 60 days?

Intro:
Do you believe transformation can happen in 60 days? Here we go... it's been MONTHS since I've been regular with my work out routine, and let's face it... it's starting to show. But my waistline isn't the only thing I need to work on. It's also my mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Let me tell ya! I have all the excuses: Work has taken over my life, there has been so much travel, I deserve more sleep and more ice cream, there isn't enough time in the day! But that's life, right?!? I could get down on myself for it, OR I could choose to change it! Sometimes we forget that we actually have a choice! We get to choose, so CHOOSE wisely! I'm feeling motivated to document this for you for a couple of reasons: 1.) The app! I want to show you what epigenetic factors are, how to take them into consideration when it comes to your health, and how to use sound healing tracks in supporting your wellness goals! So stick with me to witness the story and to see the results! Check in to my IG Live, as well. That's where I'll really get to talk to you! 2.) I have been invited to go to the Grammy's in New York in January!!! (SAY WHAT?!?) It's an opportunity to celebrate the power and influence of music, and I want to look an feel my best! This is also around the same time Soundembrace App will officially launch and YOU KNOW I will want to celebrate it! Join me for Transformation 60! A lot can happen in 60 days! It's starts now!

Morning Cup Introspection/ English Breakfast / Nov 15th /9:30am / Atlanta, Ga. //

You know that feeling you get when you’ve been running and running and running, and then you stop and look back to see how far you’ve come? You’re a little out of breath, but DAMN! That was a long way! And you can feel that your body, mind, and spirit have been working but you have this serene sense of calm.

Today is the last day in the recording studio. After this session, all of the tracks for the first iteration of the app will have been recorded and will head into mixing, and then mastering. It’s surreal to think about the enormity of this project and that this piece… this pivotal piece, is almost done!
I’ve had a few “Oh Shit!” moments… some moments based out of fear, but mostly they have based out of excitement and I have been catching myself saying, “Fuck YEAH!” a lot! And right now, stopped, I am looking back, standing in that “Fuck YEAH!” moment. I am looking forward to experiencing how it feels when the app launches!!! What will I be saying then!?!?!?!

Started the Relaxation/Stress Reduction section. Here's a peak into "The Zone". 5 tracks down! You would think I would be exhausted after creating 5- 30min sound healing tracks, but quite the opposite! I had so much energy I put it to work catching up on things. Lately, I've been feeling like I just can't catch up. It's all good though! I'm having so much fun learning, creating, and researching it doesn't feel like work! And there is so much to look forward to. OK! Check out the happenings tomorrow!

It was a mad dash into the studio! I was 10 minutes late but it all worked out! Whenever I am done setting up in a space I ALWAYS clear the energy of the room. ALWAYS! Even corporate jobs! My preference is to use sage, cedar, palo santo, put up reiki symbols, and then use a special tuning fork! (In that order!) Over kill? Hahah! It always feels better in the space! I don't always get to burn stuff, but I always clear the room somehow. Energy balanced! It's GO TIME!

Maybe I was a little too ambitious this morning... side affect of waking up earlier? I ended up spilling tea all over my shirt, but hey! I had the extra time to change, right!?Well, I also thought I had enough time to pick up some snacks to have in the studio today... last time my stomach decided it wanted to be a part of the recording! And then I decided to go to Lowes Home Improvement to pick up some clamps for an idea I have for the drum setup... Now, I'm running a little late! Ahhhh... ok, on my way!

There is something to learn from every person weaving in and out of our lives. Last week I made the time to get away so I could focus on the app. (THANK GOODNESS for friends in beautiful quiet places!) I got so much work done it was INSANE! One of the things I learned from Ari this past week was to give myself more time in the morning. I usually wake up, roll out of bed and start the day's work with crazy "oh shit" energy! Once I get where I need to be or sitting down to do the work, I have to go through a grounding exercise to focus! Or, I am carrying that "oh shit" energy with me all day! Now that I'm back and have this new found awareness of my morning (non) routine, my alarm is going off a little bit earlier, and Im giving myself time to wake up, collect my thoughts, and move my body. Very important for today...

Let's see if I can share today's story... Waking up excited! Today, I get back into the recording studio. It's 45 degrees, alarm went off at 7am, and I need to fit in a few things before I leave. The insomnia tracks have already been recorded and mixed by Luke Campolieta , and are now going through the mastering process with Martina Albano, Love these two! When creating something you are deeply passionate about, it's is important to also choose people to work with you who are also passionate about what they do, and believe in your project. Luke and Martina don't just believe in it, they GET IT! Which one of the main reasons I wanted to work with them. More soon!

Sound Importance: Being out in nature is one of the best ways to reduce stress levels.

Sound Importance: Being out in nature is one of the best ways to reduce stress levels. A team from the Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) has identified how the gentle burbling of a brook or the sound of the wind in the trees helps us relax — which could have a particularly positive impact on people carrying high levels of stress. Essentially, BSMS's researched showed that nature could be used to hack your parasympathetic nervous system. KEY! Because hacking your parasympathetic nervous system is one of the most powerful weapons against stress: aside from exposure to nature, the best way to kick-start that rest-and-digest mode is to take conscious control of your breathing, with a particular focus on lengthening exhalation. All things that are part of the evolution of my sound healing app! I can't wait for you to experience it!

Afternoon Cup Introspection/ English Breakfast / Oct 27th / 1:34pm / Attleboro, MA //

Long day...
Last minute trip to MA. My aunt had three strokes... How does that even happen!?! Well, that's why I was asked to fly out.

This is what usually happens. There is a point where people feel like they have no where else to turn and they are losing hope. I wish it wasn't that way. But this is the point where a lot of people find me.
They are in so much pain. Mental or emotional stress... on many medications... sleep deprived. That's only naming a few!

In this case with my aunt, I will be assessing her mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. Once I learn more from her doctor, I will use sound as a complementary therapy, and taking her through a health assessment to figure out what supplements will support her during this time. (First sending the final assessment to her doctor for approval.) Physical therapy will be really important at this time as well.
Why do we allow things to escalate like this in our health? Most health issues are preventable. I know for me, it was because I was ignorant to how food affected the body and had excepted that I was always going to be sick. That could have been my reality! And a lot of people think this way!

How are you not taking ownership of your health? Where are you giving up your power? It's time to reclaim it!

45% percent of Americans say that poor or insufficient sleep affected their daily activities...

45% percent of Americans say that poor or insufficient sleep affected their daily activities at least once in the past seven days, according to the National Sleep Foundation’s inaugural Sleep Health Index™ Having trouble sleeping can have a wide-range of negative effects on your health, so it's something you should take seriously. For example, it makes you less safe behind the wheel and increases your long-term risk of medical conditions such as obesity and heart disease. (to name only a few!) Though medical sleep aids may work quickly to help you drift off, they can have awful side effects and aren't good to use long term. Luckily, there is another treatment for sleepless nights that's cheap, isn't habit-forming, and is non-invasive: Sound Healing Music.

Sound Healing Music has a direct effect on the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps your body relax and prepare for sleep. It also has the power to slow your heart rate and breathing, lower your blood pressure, and may trigger your muscles to relax. “The findings from the Sleep Health Index demonstrate a need for sleep health improvement,” said David Cloud, CEO of the National Sleep Foundation. “Sleep is an important factor in overall health. We suggest that Americans and their doctors talk about sleep as a vital sign of health and well-being.” If you would still like to donate to help create this sound healing app that will have an Insomnia section, you can through the link in the bio. I will be in the recording studio today! Make sure to watch my Instagram Live to see what's up! More on sleep! AND how the Soundembrace app will support your health journey to come!

Deep down everyone wants to be a part of something special. Something that is shaping a better future. Something that gives us purpose. I want to say that this app is just the beginning... but the beginning happened way before me with people like Jonathan Goldman, Bruce Lipton, Dr.Mitchel Gaynor, and John Beaulieu! Heck! Let's also say Thomas Edison and Nicola Tessa!

As I move forward, "standing on the shoulders of giants", I would also like to acknowledge everyone who donated and shared about the crowdfunding. You are a part of something special. Thank you for lifting me up on your shoulders. Words can't even come close to express the gratitude I feel for you showing up for me in this way. But I also acknowledge that it may not be because of me at all... that it is because you have lived in pain, and have faith that this can be something great!

I'm going to take a break today...have some ice cream, take a walk, rest for a bit, and allow it all to sink in. Tomorrow, I will wake up refreshed and ready to move through the content for the next stages of app development. This is so exciting!

Last of the count down. In 3 hours, what is, will be what is. I gathered with some friends to take time, to take some time to sit with what I have accomplished with the app so far and the closing of the campaign. As I take these last sips I acknowledge the journey, I acknowledge what I have learned, and most importantly, I acknowledge all who have supported.
